Framework (5 modules): Systematic wound assessment — same technique every time, so trends are actually visible Wound types and how they heal — intention types, healing phases, and what slows healing down Dressing selection and technique — matching dressing category to what the wound actually needs Pressure injury staging and prevention — general staging concepts (explicitly non-authoritative, pointing to your facility's official reference) plus prevention priorities Recognizing complications — expected findings vs. real complications, including dehiscence and evisceration Practice Lab — Wound Management Practice Lab (5 drills): Read the wound bed  — 6 scenarios identifying granulation / slough / eschar / epithelializing tissue Healing as expected?  — 7 before/after comparisons classified as normal progression or a concerning trend Match the dressing  — 6 scenarios routed to transparent film / foam or alginate / hydrocolloid / negative pressure Which category?  — 6 general staging-concept scenarios (deliberately described in my own educational language, not reproducing any specific proprietary staging system verbatim) Complication or expected?  — 8 findings sorted into expected / notify the provider / emergency, including evisceration and uncontrolled bleeding
